Giganto is the titular Gigantosaurus of the series, and he is spending the day exploring the environment in this scene.
The first Gigantosaurus fossil was discovered in 1993 in Patagonia, and it’s believed that they lived around 100 million years ago.
Some paleontologists estimate they were even bigger than the mighty T Rex, but it’s hard to say for sure, as we have yet to find a complete skeleton for the Gigantosaurus.

Giganto’s roar is something to behold, and it can be heard from miles around!
For most of the series, Giganto doesn’t communicate with words but with growls and roars instead.
This led most characters to assume he can’t speak, but he would later dispel these rumors by speaking in a later episode.
