One of the more wholesome aspects of the Addams Family is how much Gomez loves his wife, Morticia, and he will often be driven into a frenzy of kisses when she speaks foreign languages.

The characters were first portrayed in the 1960s TV series by John Astin and Carolyn Jones, and they are often regarded as the definitive portrayals of the characters.

John Astin secretly loved Carolyn Jones behind the scenes, but he was never able to admit his true feelings while she was still alive.

The name Morticia was chosen as a pun on the word mortician, and actor John Astin chose the name of Gomez.

Wednesday Addams is a little girl who takes after her mom in many ways! Her name was chosen as a reference to the Monday’s Child poem, which has a line saying: “Wednesday’s child is full of woe.”

Wednesday has become very popular recently thanks to a Netflix series devoted to her. She was portrayed by Jenna Ortega in the series.
