Kids might like to make straight laces across their tree like the one pictured below, or they might like going through the holes several different times to make crosses all over their tree.
Some Helpful Tips
Elementary age children can easily create this craft all on their own but toddlers and preschoolers will need some assistance. For youngsters, it might be helpful to put together the Christmas trees for them. Then tape the yarn on the back of the tree and have it all ready for them to practice their lacing skills.
Prepping the Christmas trees might also be a good idea if you want to make this craft as part of a classroom Christmas party. Add the children’s names on the red pots and you have a perfect Christmas party fine motor activity.
