15 Brand New Lighthouse Coloring Pages – Free to Print and Color

There’s a simple beauty to this one, and while it may not be super detailed it still has a strong presence. How do you think you will color this one to kick off the collection?
We can’t wait to see how you get things started!
The classic color scheme for a lighthouse would be white and red alternating, and that is certainly a color scheme you could use for this lighthouse printable for kids!
Of course, there are many other colors you could use that you may prefer. It will all look amazing in its own way, so use your creativity!
This next lighthouse has a really cool design to it. The surface is separated into various sections, and we think it would look great to have some alternating colors.
If we were coloring this one, we would use white and red alternating to create a classic look for this lighthouse.
You could also go for a similar set of colors, but you could use any colors you love when bringing this one to life.
We have a more stylized take on this building for this third lighthouse coloring sheet. This one is also drawn in a simpler style, but it has a bit of a vintage, old-fashioned look to it.
The background has been left completely blank, so that gives you room to add some details of your own.
Previous pages had details like rocks at the base, so you could add details like that or any other features you can think of.
What colors came to mind when you saw this more vintage-looking lighthouse?
The waters look a bit choppy in this next image, suggesting the weather may not be the best. You could make it look like it’s storming by using a darker gray for the clouds above the lighthouse.
Do you think you will go for a stormy setting or have it be a nicer day instead?
In this next image, we have quite an incredible lighthouse for you to color! This one has quite a lot of detail to it, so you can really get in there with some intricate color choices.
In a bit of a difference from many of the previous pages, this one has a more detailed base.
It is sitting upon a large rock that has bushes and grass, so you could incorporate some lovely shades of greens to these aspects.
Seeing as this one has a detailed base, do you think you may add some more detailed background elements to compliment the base?
For the fifth lighthouse coloring printable that we have, there is another lighthouse on a base.
This lighthouse is also decorated in several sections, so this again opens up the possibility of alternating colors or making some very interesting color choices.
The base of this one is very segmented and rocky, and you could make some really cool effects using colors for this section as well!
This should prove to be a great looking lighthouse when you’re done with it!
We will be simplifying things a bit with this next page. This lighthouse is drawn in less detail than some of the previous pages, but that brings a sort of simple elegance to the composition!
It’s another one that is on a base and that has sections painted onto it, so this opens up all sorts of interesting color choices.
Will you draw any extra details for this lighthouse?
There are some subtle background details on this lighthouse coloring page, but you could add a few more. Perhaps some clouds or maybe some more birds would make this more atmospheric to look at.
These are a few ideas, but what are some other background details that you think would finish off this lighthouse scene in good style?
There is a wonderfully whimsical design to this next lighthouse! The windows and rocks surrounding the building are rounded, and this helps to give a more cartoony feel to the image.
We think that this one would look incredible with some bright colors to highlight that cartoony feeling.
This is just one suggestion, but what other colors can you think of to finish this one off?
There are loads of details to color in this next lighthouse coloring page. It has a really interesting design with many little details that you can have fun coloring.
When coloring images that have lots of smaller details like this, you’ll need the right tools for the job.
There are many different art tools and mediums that are great when more precision is needed. Some examples would include colored pens, pencils or brushes with thin tips.
Will you use mediums such as these or do you have something else in mind?
What a cool image we have for you in this one! This lighthouse gives off an inviting feeling, as there is a twisty pathway leading up the base and to the front door.
Because this one gives off a more inviting, comfy feeling, we think that some watercolor paints would look amazing.
This medium creates a softer look that would give this image a storybook feeling.
That’s one of the mediums we would suggest, but it’s completely up to you!
Because of the clouds in this next scene and the way the sky is divided, we think it would look cool to make it seem as though it is dawn or dusk in this picture.
You could do this by using alternating some red or yellow in the sky to suggest that it could be that time of day.
Even though they would look small from this distance, it may be fun to add some people standing around in this lighthouse coloring sheet!
They could be small and not very detailed, but even that would add some life to the scene. Drawing a pirate ship with sea creatures in the ocean would be another great way to add some life as well!
There is one more page for you to color here, and it is another one that is a bit simpler ins style.
For this final page of the collection, maybe you could try out some new art tools and mediums that you have not used in the collection yet!
You could print our multiple copies of this page if you would like to really experiment with colors, mediums and techniques.
You could also use a bright cone of yellow coming from the top of the lighthouse to show that it is shining brightly!
