Spring is here! It’s that time of the year when baby animals have been born and hatched and are as cute and furry as ever! Does your family have a yearly tradition of attending Baby Animal Days? Oh my goodness, it’s so much fun!

This year we are going to Baby Animal Days at the USU Botanical Center in Kaysville, Utah. It is put on as a fundraiser for the Botanical Center and the Utah State University Extension 4-H Youth Education Program. So not only is it a fun activity for families, but I love that the money earned by the event goes into an Educational Program and back into the Botanical Center.

Baby Animal Days is being held Friday, May 9 from 2-8 p.m., and Saturday, May 10 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

What kind of animals can you expect to see at Baby Animal Days?

Baby ducklings, chicks, bunnies, goats, kids, lambs, piglets, calves, baby llamas, and miniature horses.

So fun, right?! There are a few of the baby animals that your children will actually be able to hold which makes for an amazing experience and they will also have the opportunity to pet some of the other animals. There’s something about holding a baby animal that puts a big grin on your face, so make sure to come with camera in hand to capture those precious moments!

The event doesn’t stop at baby animals though. They have several other activities (additional fees may apply to some):

Baby Reptiles
Children’s Activities
Horse Rides
Sheep Shearing Demos
Miniature Train Rides
Climbing Wall
Bouncy Houses

You can check out the full schedule and purchase tickets right on their website, and if you use the Promo Code BABY5 you’ll save $5 on a family pass! Check out the Family Pass Giveaway below!

Baby Animal Days is also a great way to extend educational activities in your home. Check out some animal books from your local library and have fun creating some Baby Animal Crafts together as a family!
