Step 1
The design we are drawing in this guide is really fun and unusual! This particular block of cheese will have a fun facial expression, and it will even be striking a pose.
Before we add those kinds of details, we will first begin the outline of the cheese. This will be drawn using some straight lines that have curved dips in them.
The cheese will take on a fairly triangular shape, and it will be thicker at the base while getting thinner as you go up.
This cheese will have some arms to finish off the cartoon feeling, and we will draw the first one now. It will be thin and curved and then end in a rounded fist at the cheese’s side.
Step 2 – Now, draw some details for the side
In this guide on how to draw a cartoon cheese, we will be trying to make a 3D effect for the block of cheese. To try do this, we will draw a flat, triangular side in this step.
To do this, draw another straight line with some rounded holes coming down from the top tip to finish off this flat edge.
Then, we will add some circular shapes onto this edge to make the appearance of holes. This will give the cheese a Swiss cheese look!
Step 3 – Next, draw a face for this cheese
This cartoon cheese drawing will set itself apart from a real block of cheese by having a whimsical facial expression.
We will begin with the eyes for this face. To draw these, simply draw some oval shapes connected to one another.
There will then be some black oval shapes inside of the eye outlines, and we will also add some thin rectangular eyebrows above them.
Then, we will focus on the mouth. Draw a curved line with a pointy tip for the top of his smiling mouth, and then draw some squared, long shapes for his teeth.

Step 4 – Now, finish off the body outline
Now you’re ready to finish off the ‘body’ of this cheese. We will use some more of those straight lines that have curved holes and dips in them for the rest of the triangular outline.
We will also draw some more round holes onto this front surface of the cheese to finish off this edge. There will just be one more aspect to add, and we will take care of that in the next step!
Step 5 – Add the final details to your cartoon cheese drawing
It’s almost time to finish off this imaginative cheese with some colors, but first we will finish off the final details.
You will then be able to add some extra details and ideas of your own, but first we will add the second arm.
We are trying to create a portrayal that has a lot of character and personality in this guide, so here we will draw him giving a thumbs up.
Drawing this hand gesture can be surprisingly tricky, though! When drawing this one, try to follow the reference image closely as you replicate the positions of the fingers.
The hand will be attached to a thin, curved arm as the first one was.
Then, you can add some final details of your own! It could be fun to add a background, and this opens up so many possibilities.
