Amy used washi tape to cover the front and back of her clothespins which made the whole project so easy! I was bummed when I couldn’t find any washi tape that had a St. Patrick’s Day feel to it, so I ended up making mine a little different.
I found a green polka-dot sheet of scrapbook paper and cut strips to fit the clothespins. Then I glued the strips onto the clothespins with modge podge. I didn’t cover both sides of the clothespin, just one side. After about 15 minutes, I put a coat of modge podge on top of the paper to seal it to the clothespins.
Once the modge podge was completely dry, I got out my glitter shamrock stickers (purchased from Michael’s). I layered a large shamrock with a medium sized shamrock, just like Amy did with her heart stickers. I was worried about adhering them to the clothespins as a sticker because there would be sticker residue hanging off the sides of the clothespins, so I opted to just hot glue the shamrocks to the clothespins.
