Supplies you will need:
- white sheet of cardstock paper
- colored sheet of cardstock paper
(whatever color you want your cupcake) - various patterned pieces of scrapbook paper
- paint
(whatever color you want as your frosting) - paintbrush
- sequins
- glitter
- scissors
- glue
Directions:
1. Cut out a large ice cream cone shape out of your colored cardstock paper for our cupcake. Paint the top of your cupcake with the paint color of your choice to act as the frosting.
2. When you are finished painting on their frosting and while the paint was still wet, sprinkle glitter on your cupcakes. Pour off any loose glitter in the garbage and let the cupcakes dry completely.
3. While the paint was drying, cut a cupcake liner out of your scrabook paper and some candles. I did this part for my kids.
4. After the cupcakes are dry, we glued them to the center of our white cardstock paper and then glued our paper cupcake liners on that I had made.
5. We decided to add more sequins because cupcakes with lots and lots of sprinkles are yummy!
6. To finish the cupcakes, we glued on our candles and then glued orange sequins at the top of the candles to show them lit on fire.
They turned out so shiny and bright! I am loving all of these non-sugary cupcake activities we have done this week!
