Haunted House Craft

We made this Haunted House Craft last year from Sarah Jane Studios. It was such a hit with my boys last year and recently they asked me when we were going to make it again. I definitely need to give props to Sarah Jane. This craft has become a favorite at our house for Halloween and I suppose it has become tradition now that we’ve made it two years in a row.

My boys spent over an hour sitting together happily (without fighting, a miracle I tell ya!!) coloring their pictures and discussing all the fun things they put in all their windows.

I thought I would mention that when you print off the template at Sarah Jane’s the haunted house is a small version. After seeing how small it was I decided to save the picture of the template to my computer and printed it out as an 8×10. You can see the difference in sizes in the two pictures above and below.

Frankenstein, a skeleton, a vampire, a spider, a black cat, a jack-o-lantern, bats, a monster and a Mummy…It doesn’t get more spooky than that!!

Happy Halloween!!
