How to Draw A Cartoon Grim Reaper – Let’s Get Started!
Step 1
We will be drawing a stylized take on this famous character in this guide on how to draw a cartoon Grim Reaper!
This great design features a character that is simultaneously creepy and cute, and we will begin the skeleton head in this first step.
First, we will draw two large, rounded solid black shapes for the eye sockets. These will be rather large to create some personality for this Grim Reaper.
Then, we will create some ‘eyebrows’ above the eyes using some curved lines.
Then, some rounded lines will be used for the top of the skull, and we will add some below the eyes for some cheekbones. Once these are all drawn, we will head to the next step!
Step 2 – Now, draw the bottom of the skull

For the nose cavity, we will use two thick black lines that connect to one another to form a sort of upside-down heart shape.

Step 3 – Next, add the hood

It’s almost time for the final step of this guide on how to draw a cartoon Grim Reaper, but first we will finish off the outlines of this drawing.
The main aspect will be to draw the rest of the base of his cloak. This will fill in the empty space between the curly parts you just drew, and it will be drawn with some squared, angular shapes.
You can then finish off by adding some straight lines onto the blade of the scythe to make it look more reflective.

Now we are ready to finish off this cartoon Grim Reaper drawing with some color! In our example image, we used various dark greys and shades of black for the cloak to give it a darker look.
Then, we used light greys for the skull, darker ones for the blade and then some brown for the handle of the scythe.
