How to Draw High Heels – Let’s get Started!
Step 1
In this first step of our guide on how to draw high heels, we will be drawing the edge of the first shoe.
To do this, you will be drawing a curved line that has a rounded bend at the top with a sharper one at the bottom.
Once you have this line drawn then you’re ready to start building on the drawing in the next steps!
Step 2 – Next, draw the outline of the shoe on the right
Now that you have the outline of part of the left-hand shoe, it’s time to start the outline of the one on the right for this part of your high heels drawing.
To do this, you will be drawing a vertical line with a slight curve at the top. There will also be a short, straight edge going horizontally at the bottom.
Step 3 – Now, draw the left side of the right-hand shoe
In this part of our guide on how to draw high heels, you will be replicating the line that you drew in step 1 of the guide.
This will be to form the left-hand edge of the shoe on the right, and since this shoe is at the same angle as the first you can simply mirror the line from step 1.
This line will also connect to the edge on the right that you drew in the previous step.
Step 4 – Next, finish the outline of the shoe on the right
We will be finishing off the outline of the shoe on the right in this step of our guide on how to draw high heels.
First, use a curved line for the base of the shoe. This will then loop up and then down in a straight line to form the thin heel of the shoe.
Step 5 – Now, add the base of the shoes
This step of our guide on how to draw high heels will be quite a simple one! All you will be doing is drawing some lines to form the base of the shoes.
To do this, carefully draw a line just a bit above the very bottom of the high heels. You will also add a short line above the base of the point of the heel before moving on.
Step 6 – Next, draw the hole in the left-hand shoe
A shoe isn’t very useful if you can’t put your foot in it! For that reason we will be adding the first hole in this step of your high heels drawing.
To do this, simply add a thin, curved shape inside of the shoe on the left, as shown in our reference image.
Once you have done that, we have just a few details to add in the next step, and then you’ll be ready for some coloring fun!
Step 7 – Next, draw the other hole and final details
It’s almost time for the final step of this guide on how to draw high heels, but before we get to that point we have just a few things to add.
The main aspect will be adding the hole for the other shoe. This one will look pretty much exactly the same as the previous one that you did.
That will finish off the details in this guide, but before you move on you should feel free to add any details of your own that you may like! You could change up the design a bit, add a background or draw some legs to show who is wearing these fashionable high heels.
It can be lots of fun incorporating art mediums such as acrylic paints or colored pens for some bright, dynamic colors. You could also incorporate a bit of glitter for an extra fancy look!
