Tissue Paper Tulip Kids Craft (with printable pattern)

Tulips are one of my favorite flowers in spring time. I love all of their vibrant, pretty colors! We made cupcake liner tulips a few days ago but I thought it would also be fun to create a Tissue Paper Tulip Craft. I created a simple pattern and am offering it free for download to make the craft super simple for you. We have a local tulip festival that we plan on taking a trip to this next week so it’s made for perfect timing for all of our flower crafts.

Supplies you will need:
1. Start by printing off the tulip pattern on white cardstock paper. Have your child cut it out.
2. Cut your green and pink tissue paper into squares.

3. Put school glue onto the stem and leaf of your tulip flower and add crinkled up green tissue paper to it.

4. Add school glue all over the tulip flower and cover it with your pink tissue paper squares (or color of your choice). Let the glue dry completely.

These would be so fun and pretty made in a classroom with different colors and hung up on a bulletin board with the saying “We’re in full bloom” or something. My daughter made a multi-colored one that is adorable, but I haven’t had a chance to get a photo of it.
