Instructions for making this easy St. Patrick’s Day Craft

1. Start by sealing your envelope and cut it in half. You will only need half for each Leprechaun puppet. Paint the front of your envelope with your peach paint and set it aside to dry completely. (Note: If you don’t want to use paint, you can color the front of the envelope with a peach crayon.)

2. While your paint is drying, cut out a leprechaun hat, band and buckle out of your construction paper. Also cut out small strips of orange construction paper and wrap them around your finger or a pencil to make them curly.

3. Glue two layers of your curly orange construction paper at the bottom of your envelope (the bottom is the end that is open). Glue your hat onto the top of your envelope. Then tear small pieces of orange construction paper and glue them onto the sides of the envelope to finish the leprechaun’s hair.

4. Finish your leprechaun puppet craft by gluing on googly eyes and using your crayons to add details like a nose, mouth, freckles and eyebrows.
