We’ve been at it with our cupcake liners again. This time we turned a black cupcake liner into a pot of gold and created a simple and fun St. Patrick’s Day craft for kids. We included a rainbow coming down into the pot to make it an even more colorful craft for St. Patrick’s Day.

Supplies you will need:

  • red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple cardstock paper
    (cut into half-inch strips)
  • light green cardstock paper (cut into one-inch strip)
  • light blue sheet of cardstock paper
  • black cupcake liner
  • gold sequins
  • glue stick
  • school glue
Directions:
1. Start by gluing your one-inch strip of green paper on the bottom of your light blue cardstock paper.
2. Next glue your rainbow strips onto your paper coming down from the top of the paper.
3. Fold your cupcake liner down about one-quarter to make a straight edge at the top. Glue the cupcake liner onto your paper at the bottom of your rainbow.
4. Add a generous amount of school at the top of your pot and add gold sequins.
