Heart Stamper Non-Candy Valentine with Printable

My daughter’s dance teacher always gives her students a stamp on the hand after class to celebrate a job well done. My daughter adores it! So when I came across these little Valentine’s Day stampers recently my heart fluttered with excitement because I knew they would make a perfect non-candy Valentine gift for all of my daughter’s preschool classmates. Yesterday we shared how we used them on our 100 Hearts Preschool Math Activity and today I’m showing you how to turn your leftover stampers into these adorable heart stamper non-candy Valentine’s. I’ve included the printable Valentine card to make them even more simple to put together.

HOW TO MAKE A HEART STAMPER NON-CANDY VALENTINE

***NOTE: Recently it was brought to my attention that there was a spelling error in the original printable that you see photographed in this post. I have now remade a new version of the printable and it is linked below.

Supplies:

  • Heart Stamper Valentine Printable
  • heart stampers (the ones I used are from Oriental Trading (non-affiliate). Here are similar ones found on Amazon.)
  • heart washi tape (like THIS or THIS)
  • scissors

Instructions:

1. Print off the heart stamper Valentine printable on white cardstock paper. Cut them out.

2. Attach a heart stamper to the valentine card with washi tape.

3. If you want to, stamp a heart in the bottom corner of the Valentine. You could alternatively write “Love,” and who it is from.

I adore these Valentine’s not only because they are non-candy but because the little stampers are great for encouraging creativity. My daughter loves to sit and create her own unique pieces of artwork with all of her stamps and make patterns with the different colors.

These are adorable! I would really love to use this printable for Valentine’s Day this year. When I look at the PDF it looks like you spelled friendship in correctly. It looks like it is spelled friendshp (without the second i). Perhaps I am mistaken and when it’s printed it looks right. I wanted to make sure before I paid for printing. Thank you!

Hi Jennifer! I’m horrified and embarrassed that I’ve had this post up for an entire year now and no one has ever noticed this error. Hahaha! I ended up remaking the printable tonight and am going to send you a copy via email. If you don’t get it let me know. I don’t have any stampers to try out the new printable with but I tried to make them the same size so they should work. I’d love to hear back from you if they work out ok. Thank you so much for pointing out the spelling error!!

It will depend on the size of the child’s finger. I need a 3/4-inch for my own fingers but my daughter, age 8, is good with 1/2-inch.

Is the Valentine print out “Your friendship is stamped in my heart” copy righted? I do not have a colored printer and so i sent it to Staples to have it printed for my daughter’s school Valentines Day party and they just contacted me saying they couldn’t print it because of it being copy righted.

I’m sorry. I haven’t had that issue before. You are free to print it for personal use. The copyright on it is simply so people do not repurpose or resell it.
