Get ready to light up your little one’s creativity with a fun and festive fireworks craft!
This easy project uses glue, star-shaped decorations and glitter to make dazzling fireworks displays that toddlers will love. Your child will have a blast spreading glue and sprinkling glitter, making their artwork sparkle and shine just like real fireworks.
In addition to providing a fun experience, this craft supports the development of fine motor skills as toddlers experiment with various materials.
What you will need:
- black cardstock
- school glue
- star-shaped decorations
- glitter
How to make it:
1. Took a black cardstock and apply glue where desired.
I gave her a half sheet of black cardstock and some school glue and let her put dabs and lines where ever she wanted on her paper.
2. Glue star-shaped decorations onto the paper
Then we got some fun star-shaped decorations and she started putting little stars (fireworks) all over her black sky.
3. Sprinkle glitter across the paper
She had lots of glue spots left over after adding some stars so we sprinkled glitter all over her paper. I directed her which spots to shake each color.
4. Pour off the excess glitter
Once it dried, we discarded the excess glitter into the garbage can and now you are left with a fun fireworks scene!
Thanks for coming by today! I hope you have a fabulous 4th of July holiday!!
