We came across a cute book at the library last week called Immi’s Gift. It’s a great multicultural book about a young Eskimo girl. I love how the book creates connections between people from different parts of the world. We got out our trusty cupcake liners and made a fun Igloo craft to go along with the book.

Supplies:
- blue cardstock paper
- white cardstock paper
- black cardstock paper
- 1 regular-size white cupcake liner
- 1 small cupcake liner
- white paint
- small paper plate
- scissors
- glue
Directions:
1. Cut out snow mound and glue it onto blue cardstock paper
Start by cutting a snow mound out of your white cardstock paper and gluing it onto your blue cardstock paper.
2. Cut bottom of cupcake liners, glue large one onto snow mound
Cut the bottom of your cupcake liners so that they have flat edges. Glue your large cupcake liner onto your snow mound.
3. Create igloo entrance for small cupcake liner and glue it in front of large one
Cut an opening in your small cupcake liner to make an igloo entrance. Cut a section from your black cardstock paper as a backing to the igloo entrance and glue it to the back of the small cupcake liner. Now, glue the small cupcake liner in front of the large cupcake liner.
4. Make fingerprint snowflakes
Add a small amount of white paint to a small paper plate. Make fingerprint snowflakes all over your paper. Let it dry completely.
