Cupcake Liner Peacock Stick Puppet

We are in love with Peacock’s this week! Ever since we shared our Peacock Craft earlier this week we have been on a bird kick. We have already been huge bird craft fans in the past but I’m excited to share some of our new bird creations over the next week or two. I’m starting with this simple and fun Cupcake Liner Peacock Stick Puppet. It’s a colorful kid craft that is perfect for a summer afternoon or after visiting the zoo. The puppet aspect of it also creates some fun imaginative play for kids.

Tutorial:

1. Make a base for our craft

Start by flattening and gluing your green cupcake liner onto a piece of blue cardstock paper. Feel free to use any color of cardstock you want, or even cardboard, we went with blue to go with the overall Peacock theme. Cut the cupcake liner circle out.

2. Glue liners to make body

Glue your mini blue cupcake liner at the bottom of your green cupcake liner. Use your circle punch to cut out a 1 1/2-inch circle out of your blue cardstock paper. Glue it towards the top of your mini blue cupcake liner.
