Every year I love making a little special treat for my kids for Valentine’s Day to make them feel extra special. Today I started putting together these simple Love You to “Pieces” Valentine Treat Bags that I wanted to share with you. These can be used for friends, teachers, classmates or anyone extra special, and your kids can even help you make them.

Supplies needed:
- pink chevron treat bags
- 5-inch round doilies
- large heart punch
- pink cardstock paper
- marker to write on heart
- bakers twin or small ribbon
- hole punch
- Candies
Tutorial:
1. Add candies to the bag
Start by pouring about 1/4 cup of candies into your treat bag.
2. Glue doily on bag
Lay your doily at the top of your treat bag and then fold down the bag and doily to the back to form a square.
3. Cut out heart and write a text
Cut a heart out of your pink cardstock paper with your heart punch, and then write Love You to “Pieces” Valentine! on it. I actually had planned on having a printable for you for this, but after I made them today I was having trouble with my computer and the printable didn’t save like I thought it had. 🙁
4. Make two holes in heart
Punch two holes at the top of the heart then place it at the top of your bag. Use the pre-punched holes to help you punch holes through the doily and bag.
5. Thread twine through hole
Thread a piece of bakers twine through the two holes and tie a bow to close the bag shut. Now hand them to someone special and watch them smile from ear to ear!
