Cupcake Liner Elephant Craft

My kids loves cupcake liners so we decided to give another animal a go… this time we made a cute little Elephant.

Supplies you will need:

  • Blue sheet of cardstock for your background (or whatever color you choose)
  • 1 standard grey cupcake liner
  • 1 mini grey cupcake liner
  • 1 sheet of gray cardstock paper
  • elephant ears pattern
  • 2 wiggly eyes
  • scissors
  • gluestick
  • school glue

Step-by-step tutorial:

1. Print out pattern

Start by printing out the Elephant Ears Pattern. Use it to trace and cut out your two elephant ears.

2. Attach ears to the cupcake liner

Glue your elephant ears to the back of your small gray cupcake liner with your glue stick.

3. Glue details to the paper

Now its time to glue your large gray cupcake liner onto your blue cardstock paper, then glue your head with ears attached onto your blue cardstock paper.

4. Make legs, tail & trunk shapes

Cut out 4 legs, a tail and a trunk from your gray paper and glue it onto your elephant. We also cut out a small tear shaped piece for the end of the tail and cut slits at the end for hair.

5. Finish with wiggly eyes

Glue on your wiggly eyes and your elephant is complete.
