HOW TO MAKE A POPSICLE STICK BUTTERFLY
Supplies you will need:
- mini craft sticks (We received ours from our friends at Craftprojectideas.com and you can find them at your local Walmart.)
- regular size craft sticks
- acrylic paint
(optional, you can leave it unpainted if you want) - white cardstock paper
- Do-A-Dot Art Markers
- pipe cleaner
- googly eyes
- scissors
- tape
- tacky glue
3. Cut two heart shaped wings out of your white cardstock paper. Use your Do-A-Dot markers to make your wings colorful.
4. Cut your pipe cleaner into fourths. Take two of the sections, curl the ends of them to make antennae and glue them to the back of your butterfly. I also put some tape over them to hold them in place while they were drying.
5. Glue your heart wings to the back of your butterfly.
6. Finish you butterfly by gluing the googly eyes onto his face. You could also use a marker to draw a mouth on it if you want.
