Fall Cupcake Liner Tree Craft

We had a friend over this afternoon and decided to make a quick fall tree craft out of cupcake liners. This is such a simple craft, perfect for toddlers and preschoolers.

Supplies you will need:

  • blue cardstock paper
  • brown lunch bag
  • fall/autumn colored mini cupcake liners
  • scissors
  • glue stick
  • crayons
Directions:
1. Cut a strip out of a your brown lunch sack to use as the trunk. Crinkle it up a bit and then flatten it out and glue it onto your blue cardstock paper.2. Flatten out your mini cupcake liners and glue them onto your paper to make your leaves.

3. Your your crayons to color grass at the bottom of your paper. Our friend got creative and colored blue sky and yellow sun on her artwork. It’s kind of hard to see in the pictures but it’s so cute.
Here is my daughter’s tree. It’s been exciting to see her progression over the couple months with using glue and crayons. I was excited that she put the grass at the bottom of the paper and even a streak of blue at the top for sky. She just turned 3 in August.
