We have three different Easter animals for you to choose from: A bunny, chick or lamb. They are all so cute though, you might find yourself making all three!

Easy Easter Cards for Kids

All you need to get started is a few simple craft supplies and our card templates, and then you’ll have a handful of these cute Easter cards made in no time at all!

How to Make an Easter Lamb Card

Adorable little lambs are a favorite Easter animal and that’s why we’ve included it in our Easter cards pack. We made a cute little black lamb with white fur but kids can choose any color variation they want to create their lamb card.

Step 1: Get the lamb card template from our shop. Print out the lamb pattern page of the template on white cardstock. Cut out each of the lamb pieces from the template and use them as a pattern to trace and cut out each of the pieces on colored cardstock or construction paper.

If you chose not to purchase the template, you will need to cut out two lamb ears from black cardstock, a nose from pink cardstock paper, and some fluffy lamb hair from white cardstock.

Step 2: Cut a black piece of cardstock paper in half to create two cards. Fold a section of the black paper in half to create your card.

Step 3: Glue the two lamb ears at the top and sides of the card and the white hair at the top of the card. Then glue the nose and googly eyes on the front of the card.

Step 4: Glue the “Happy Easter” greeting on the inside of the black card.

How to Make an Easter Bunny Card

Nothing screams Easter more than some cute bunnies! We’ve made this fun bunny card two different ways. One with two teeth ready to crunch on a yummy carrot, and one with a mouth and whiskers drawn on with a black marker. Choose your favorite, or have fun making both.

Step 1: Get the bunny card template from our shop. Print out the card page of the template on white or gray cardstock. Print out the the bunny pieces page on white paper. Cut out each of the bunny pieces from the template and use them as a pattern to trace and cut out each of the pieces on colored cardstock or construction paper.

If you chose not to purchase the template, you will need to cut out two bunny ears from white or gray cardstock, two ovals for inside the ears from pink cardstock, and a nose from pink cardstock. You can also cut out a white rectangle and draw a line down the middle with a black marker to make bunny teeth.

Step 2: Cut the card page of the template in half to make two cards. Fold each of the cards in half along the dashed line to create your folded card.

Step 3: Glue the inside ear pieces onto the bunny ears. Then glue the the bunny teeth onto the nose. Glue the ears at the top and back of the card. Finally, finish you bunny card by gluing the nose and googly eyes on the front of the card.

Optional: As an alternative to using the bunny teeth from the template, you can use a black marker to draw a mouth and dots for whiskers on the bunny.

How to Make an Easter Chick Card

This easy chick card is super easy for toddlers, preschoolers and kids of all ages to make. A fun addition to make this cute Easter card a keepsake would be to trace and cut out children’s handprints and glue them onto the sides of the card as chick wings.

Step 1: Get the chick card template from our shop. Print out the chick pattern page of the template on white cardstock. Cut out each of the chick pieces from the template and use them as a pattern to trace and cut out each of the pieces on colored cardstock or construction paper.

If you chose not to purchase the template, you will need to cut out a triangle beak from orange cardstock and a rectangle piece for head feather.

Step 2: Cut the card page of the template in half to make two cards. Fold each of the cards in half along the dashed line to create your card.

Step 3: Use scissors to cut slits at the top of the head feathers. Glue them at the top and back of the card. Then glue the chick beak and googly eyes onto the front of the card.

Optional: To add something extra special to your card, trace the child’s handprints on yellow cardstock and cut them out. Glue them on the sides of the chick for wings.
