My preschooler loves bubble gum, as most kids do. She is great about not swallowing it so I let her have it as an occasional treat with me. She recently learned how to blow a bubble which has made for lots of excitement. 🙂 Since we have been practicing counting up to 20, I thought it would be fun to make a bubble gum machine craft for her to practice her counting.
Supplies you will need:
paper plate
red and gray cardstock paper
round stickers
marker
scissors
glue
Directions:
1. Start by cutting out the pieces you’ll need for your bubble gum machine from your red and gray cardstock paper. From your red paper you’ll need a base, a square for the bubble gum dispenser, an oval-type shape for the top and circle. From your gray you’ll need a circle.
2. Attach all the pieces to your paper plate with a stapler or glue.
3. Place your round stickers inside your bubble gum machine. I had my daughter put 20 stickers inside her machine because we’ve been working on our numbers up to 20. I also had her practice writing the number 20 inside the gray circle. It turned out to be such a simple and fun craft.
